Alison Young is a Fort Wayne native who has spent her entire life writing. Her fictional works include poetry, short stories and stage plays. She was a journalist and reporter for her college newspaper and wrote numerous scholarly and research papers over her academic career. She wrote professionally in Louisiana for a number of years as a magazine journalist, as well as writing a variety of radio and print advertisements. She has a dual degree in history and communication with a concentration in public relations and a minor in political science from Huntington University and a MBA with a concentration in entrepreneurship from Rice University. She currently resides in Texas with her husband, son and dog, and enjoys writing, reading and traveling.
